TheAdvancedMed is committed to providing timely, high-quality care to every patient. To ensure that appointments remain available to all patients, we ask that you follow the scheduling and cancellation guidelines outlined below.
Scheduling Appointments
Appointments may be scheduled through our website, by phone, or through our scheduling platform. When scheduling an appointment, patients are responsible for providing accurate contact information and insurance details.
New patients may be required to complete intake forms prior to their appointment. Failure to complete required forms may result in rescheduling.
Appointment Confirmation
Patients may receive appointment reminders through phone calls, text messages, or email notifications. These reminders are provided as a courtesy; however, patients remain responsible for attending their scheduled appointments.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late to your appointment, the provider may have limited time available. Depending on the delay, the appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid delays for other patients.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Missed Appointments
A missed appointment occurs when a patient fails to attend a scheduled visit without providing advance notice.
Repeated missed appointments may result in:
• appointment cancellation fees
• scheduling restrictions
• possible dismissal from the practice in severe cases
Telehealth Appointments
Patients scheduled for telehealth visits must log into the appointment platform at the scheduled time. If technical issues arise, patients should contact the office promptly for assistance.
Emergency Situations
We understand that unexpected emergencies may occur. If you experience a medical emergency, please call 911 or seek immediate medical care.
